Located on the waterfront beside the mouth of the Cávado River, the Esposende Skatepark is a compact 300 m² facility with a spectacular seaside setting. The park combines a range of technical street obstacles including a quarterpipe, grindbox, manual pad, flatbar, corner and curved incline, providing lines suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced skaters.
The skatepark was originally developed as part of the redevelopment of Esposende's waterfront area, with the municipality announcing plans for a skatepark near the marina in 2012. The exact original construction year and contractor have not been reliably established. The park was completely renovated by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins) in 2023, replacing the older wooden setup with new ramps and obstacles.
