Located at Calle Eduardo Benot 12 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, this outdoor concrete skatepark spans approximately 1,813 m² following its renovation in 2019. Designed by architect Daniel Yábar, the park features two integrated zones: a flowing semi-buried bowl and a plaza-style street area with ledges, rails, banks, funboxes and curbs. Situated in a central urban space next to the city promenade, El Refugio blends skate terrain with public space and urban design. Note: as of recent reports the original facility may have been demolished as part of other public works—visitors are advised to check for the current status before planning a session.
