The Quebec City Skatepark, located in the heart of Quebec’s capital, is a masterclass in architectural storytelling. The lead design was completed by Spectrum Skateparks (now fully integrated with New Line Skateparks), resulting in an inspired facility that mirrors the city’s unique juxtaposition of 300-year-old stone heritage and chic modernism.
Rather than leaning into tourist clichés, the park celebrates the harmony of "Old Quebec" through a formal entrance and concrete colors inspired by historic masonry, blended seamlessly with contemporary, smooth artistic forms. For transition enthusiasts, the park features a high-performance bowl equipped with pool coping, a spine, hips, extensions, and a challenging over-vert section. More than just a riding spot, the facility was designed as a "modern skateboarding area"—a true community hub complete with a modern plantation plan, thematic trails, and numerous observation areas where skaters and non-skaters alike can gather and coexist.
