Dartford Skatepark is a large concrete skatepark in Central Park, featuring a flowing combination of transition and street elements. The park was developed following consultation with the local skateboarding community. Phase one was designed and built by Gravity Skateparks at a cost of £120,000, funded partly by Dartford Borough Council and partly through the Barclays Spaces for Sport programme. The council's records show that Groundwork Kent Thameside was appointed to deliver the design and construction in 2006.
The first phase opened in March 2007. A second phase extension was added in 2009 by Greenstreet Designs, expanding the original facility and adding further riding features.
