ABOUT SKATEPARK

Cooper Park Skatepark

Cooper Park Skatepark is a concrete transition-focused skatepark in Cooper Park, Elgin, Moray, Scotland. The park features a flowing layout with bowl corners, a volcano, pump bump, bank-to-wall ride, hips, extended flat bank and quarter pipes of different heights. The park is part of the historic Cooper Park, which was gifted to the people of Elgin and officially opened in 1903. The skatepark itself is therefore much newer, dating from the 2000s rather than the original development of the park.

The skatepark was designed and built by Bendcrete Skateparks and was completed in 2009. Skateboard Scotland recorded the official opening on 4 April 2009, with skateboarding, BMX and inline demonstrations taking place at the opening event.
