The skatepark was built in 2018. Builders and Designers involved: Vulcanoskateparks. ColaCao skatepark is probably the windiest place to skate in europe. If you’re in Tarifa I guess you aren’t their because of skating, considering many consider Tarifa as the Mekka for kite- and windsurfers as well as for surfers, or you are passing by to catch the 35 minutes away ferry to Tanger in Morocco. Tarifa had the strongest wind conditions in whole Europe and there are just a few days of less wind… so for skating it can be annoying. All in all it’s a fun little park, but street skaters would probably void this place cause the proportions of the street obstacles to each other are not well calculated in heights and lengths. The open Bowl is a little funny weirdo but I had fun so maybe you as well and the locals are very friendly. If you don’t like playing kids in a skatepark I would say skip this one. If you don’t care because you love to shred no matter what… go.
