The McNabb Skatepark (also known as the Charlie Bowens Memorial Park) is a landmark facility located at the intersection of Bronson Avenue and Gladstone Avenue in downtown Ottawa, Ontario. As the city’s first purpose-built skatepark in the central urban core, it was designed and constructed by New Line Skateparks to serve as a vital hub for the downtown riding community.
The park was integrated as a key feature of the larger McNabb Park master plan and quickly became one of the most beloved and heavily sessioned spots in the region. Its design balances modern street terrain with creative flow, providing a high-quality space for local skaters and BMX riders to progress. Additionally, the project was engineered with the future in mind, including strategic options for a Phase Two expansion. This forward-thinking development was made possible through the dedicated advocacy and ongoing fundraising initiatives of the Ottawa Skateboard Community Association (OSCA).
