The Campana skatepark, officially known as the Skatepark de Campana, is centrally located in the heart of the city’s civic area, specifically within the Plaza de las Carretas. This facility is a key part of the local "Parque Urbano" project and serves as a major gathering point for the youth community in the Greater Buenos Aires region. It was constructed with a focus on durability, utilizing reinforced concrete to withstand heavy daily use by skateboarders, bikers, and inline skaters.
The layout of the park is primarily characterized by its wide, open street-style design. It features a series of interconnected ramps, quarter pipes, and several flat-ground obstacles such as ledges and rails.
Its location on Boulevard Sarmiento ensures it is easily accessible by public transport and remains well-integrated into the surrounding urban landscape, providing a safe and visible space for the local extreme sports scene.
