ABOUT SKATEPARK

Buckley skatepark

Buckley Skatepark is a concrete skatepark located along River Avenue in Buckley, Washington, within the Heritage Park area beside the Foothills Trail. The original skatepark opened in 2005 but eventually fell into disrepair, leading the City of Buckley to completely reconstruct the facility. The new park was designed and built by Grindline and officially opened on 11 August 2016. The layout combines an open bowl and street section with a volcano, banks, quarter pipes, a mini ramp, manual pad, kicker, gap, ledges, rails and other street features. The park is also equipped with lighting, allowing it to be used after dark. Today, Buckley Skatepark remains a free public facility and forms part of a larger recreation area that includes a children's playground, sports court, restrooms and the Foothills Trail.
