Blåmann Skatepark is an outdoor cast-in-place concrete skatepark at Blåmann Idrettspark on Kvaløya, just outside Tromsø in northern Norway. Betongpark built the skatepark in 2018, creating a permanent facility designed to provide an accessible and inclusive place for local children, young people and adults to participate in skateboarding and other wheeled sports.
The project was developed in association with IL Blåmann and formed part of the wider sports facilities at Blåmann Idrettspark. The skatepark was created as a low-threshold, self-organised activity space, giving local young people an alternative to traditional organised sports.
Built to withstand the challenging conditions of northern Norway, the concrete park provides a durable riding surface and has become a notable part of the skateboarding infrastructure around Tromsø.
Its location makes Blåmann particularly remarkable: it is recognised as one of the world's northernmost outdoor cast-in-place concrete skateparks, bringing a purpose-built concrete skate facility to a region with long, cold winters and extreme seasonal conditions.
