Located at 13 South 27th Street (at the corner of South 27th Street and 1st Avenue South) in Billings, Montana, the Downtown Billings Skate Park opened in 2004 as a major urban recreation initiative for Yellowstone County. Spanning 14,000 square feet, this custom concrete facility caters to skateboarders, inline skaters, and scooter riders with a diverse layout of street and transition elements. A central centerpiece of the venue is the "Head Over Heels" sculpture, a life-sized statue depicting a skateboarder performing a handplant handstand trick on a coping ledge. Situated right in the city core, the park offers an accessible outdoor spot for local youth and traveling riders against the downtown Billings backdrop.
