ABOUT SKATEPARK

Beaconsfield skatepark

Beaconsfield Skatepark is a compact concrete park at Holm Park Recreation Reserve, combining a mellow street section with a distinctive 3/4 bowl. The street course uses the site's natural slope to create banks, steps, rails and ledges, including a mellow four-stair set with both square and round rails. At the end of the park, the approximately four-foot bowl has steeper, near-vertical transitions, giving the otherwise approachable park a more challenging option for experienced riders.

The skatepark was designed by Playce in collaboration with Baseplate and constructed by Trinity Skateparks. Community consultation began in 2017, with construction planned for the 2017–18 summer period, and local reports confirming the park was completed and in use in 2018.

After skating, you can explore the wider Holm Park Recreation Reserve and its sporting facilities, or head to nearby Cardinia Reservoir for walking, cycling and views across the surrounding countryside.
