Also known as ART Park, this distinctive skatepark in Alto do Lumiar combines skateboarding with Lisbon's graffiti and street-art culture. Rather than treating the skatepark as a conventional collection of obstacles, the design integrates skateable elements with structures created for graffiti, producing a long, flowing urban space where art and skateboarding exist side by side.
The park was designed and built by Wasteland Skateparks in 2020 as part of a project involving Solid Dogma, Entre Mercurio e Marte and the architects HGSP. Wasteland describes the concept as a skateable route running between supports designed for graffiti and street art.
The layout includes banks, ledges, manual pads, wallrides and other street obstacles distributed along the open concrete area. Its unusual artistic concept gives it a character quite different from a conventional municipal skatepark, with the surrounding graffiti installations forming an integral part of the experience.
