Almere Skateplaza is a 700 m² concrete street plaza located beneath the bus bridge near the city centre of Almere. The park opened in 2015 and was designed and built by SkateOn, with the project developed in cooperation with local skaters and the municipality.
The compact layout is focused on street skating, featuring rails, ledges, banks, gaps and other technical obstacles, while its sheltered location beneath the bridge gives the park a distinctive urban character. The project was created as a central skate spot for Almere and was officially opened with a Vans team demo in October 2015.
