Albal Ignacio Echeverría Skatepark is a compact concrete skatepark located in Parque La Balaguera in Albal, Valencia. The park opened in December 2017 after being proposed by local residents through the municipality's Fem Poblecitizen-participation programme. It was named in honour of Spanish skateboarder Ignacio Echeverría, who died during the 2017 London terrorist attack after confronting an attacker with his skateboard.
Covering approximately 400 m², the park was designed and built by CopinRamps, with Abel Segura involved in the design and construction. The layout combines flowing transition terrain with street elements, including banks, quarterpipes, a mini ramp and curbs, creating several lines within its compact footprint.
The project took around two months to construct and was funded with an investment of approximately €50,000. Today, the skatepark serves as both a local riding facility and a permanent tribute to Ignacio Echeverría, whose story has become an important part of Spanish skateboarding history.
