The adidas World of Sports Skatepark is a private 450 m² concrete skatepark located inside adidas’ headquarters campus in Herzogenaurach. Built specifically for adidas employees and the company’s skate team, it is a compact, street-oriented park with ledges, curbs, manual pads, banks, quarterpipes, rails and a wallride. The park forms part of the extensive sports facilities at the World of Sports campus.
The skatepark was built in 2019 by Yamato Living Ramps, with the design credited to Yamato Living Ramps and Baseplate. Adidas Action Sports was the client. Yamato describes it as a “Deluxe TF” created for the skate team and employees, making it an unusual example of a company headquarters incorporating a dedicated skate facility.
The wider World of Sports campus was developed as adidas’ headquarters and includes numerous sporting facilities, with the major Campus Süd expansion completed in 2019. Landscape architects LOLA Landscape Architects and WGF Objekt were responsible for the wider outdoor environment.
After skating, you can visit the adidas Factory Outlet in Herzogenaurach, or explore the historic old town of Herzogenaurach and its traditional Franconian streets.
