Through this website, and depending on the purpose as stated below, the following Personal Data may be collected: (i) name, (ii) date of birth, (iii) contact details (telephone and email), (iv) company represented and (v) information necessary and relevant to the assessment of the suitability of candidates for employment with Trucks and Fins, for example professional experience, academic qualifications (together, the "Personal Data").

3. The Purpose of the Processing of Personal Data

The collection and processing of Personal Data on this website is for: (i) the recruitment and selection of candidates and (ii) the sending, upon request by the user, of proposals for services and/or quotes (as well as information concerning the products and/or services of Trucks and Fins (together referred to the “Purposes”). The completion of a form corresponding to any of the Purposes, and/or the sending of a curriculum vitae in the case of the collection and processing of Personal Data for the purposes of recruitment and selection of candidates, is deemed to be express permission and consent to the processing of the Personal Data provided.

If the user provides express advance consent to the processing of their Personal Data (such consent may, at any time, be withdrawn - see paragraph 5 below), Trucks and Fins undertakes to carry out the processing of Personal Data only to the extent and for the time necessary to achieve the Purposes. 

With this in mind, Trucks and Fins does not request, nor does it encourage anywhere, the sending of Personal Data relating to philosophical beliefs or political party or trade union affiliation, religious faith, private life and racial or ethnic origin, or the processing of data concerning health or sex life, including genetic data. If this is provided to Trucks and Fins, Trucks and Fins may not be held liable for its processing under the Privacy Policy.

Without prejudice to other forms of contact with Trucks and Fins, the non-provision of Personal Data by the user prevents Trucks and Fins considering it for the purposes of recruitment/submission of proposals and/or quotes or other information, depending on the applicable situation.

4. Storage of Personal Data

The period of time during which Personal Data is stored and kept varies in accordance with the Purposes.

Thus, Personal Data processed for the recruitment and selection of candidates may be kept for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose (for example, if the candidate joins Trucks and Fins, Personal Data will be processed with the purpose of human resources management; if they do not join Trucks and Fins, this may be kept in reserve for future recruitment procedures, without prejudice to the right of the owner requesting the deletion of data, at any time, as indicated in 5. below). 

Personal Data processed for the purpose of sending proposals for services and or quotes or information relating to new products and/or services of Trucks and Fins will be saved for a period of 1 (one year) after the last contact with the owner of the Personal Data, without prejudice to this happening for longer periods when the situation warrants it (and proportionate to that situation), in particular to safeguard the rights of Trucks and Fins.

5. Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and the right to portability of Personal Data

At any time, the user has a right of access to their Personal Data, as well as to its rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and/or opposition to processing – The user may exercise any of these rights by writing to Trucks and Fins, using the address of the registered office or through the following email info@trucksandfins.com.

Without prejudice to the above, the user will always have the right to submit complaints to the authority with jurisdiction for the purpose. 

6. Security in the Processing of Personal Data

Personal Data will be processed and stored in computers and on paper.

Trucks and Fins is committed to ensuring the security and protection of Personal Data which is sent to us through the website, and has adopted appropriate technical and organisational measures for that purpose, in particular: (i) protection with passwords, (ii) use of digital certificates, (iii) restrictions on physical entry to the locations of the servers that store Personal Data; (iv) firewalls, (v) secure communication via https protocol.Trucks and Fins can confirm that these security measures are reviewed and updated depending on the needs and state of the art in these matters.
