Wood be Hero is an independent skateboard shop based in Oegstgeest, near Leiden, Netherlands. Run by skateboarders for skateboarders, the shop has been part of the local skate scene for years, offering skateboards, decks, trucks, wheels, hardware, clothing, protection and accessories for beginners through experienced riders.
With decades of skateboarding experience behind the shop, Wood be Hero focuses on personal advice and helping people find the right setup rather than simply selling products. We’re also closely involved in the local skate community through Skate School Leiden, offering skateboard lessons, clinics, school and BSO sessions, birthday clinics and events at skateparks throughout the Leiden and Bollenstreek area.
